Job summary

Klein Tools in Mansfield, TX is seeking a Warehouse Picker who works under close supervision of the Picking Supervisor to prepare products for delivery by selecting items in multiple zones and placing them in boxes on a conveyor system. You will also pick large quantity orders for distribution by operating an RF Scanner, moving boxes to pallets, and staging them for shipment.

The role requires basic English, the ability to operate an RF Scanner and Pallet Jack, and a willingness to work

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must read, write, speak and understand basic English.
• Must be able to operate RF Scanner and Pallet Jack.
• Must be willing to work overtime.
• Ability to demonstrate basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
• Ability to work independently and with others.
• Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail.
• Ability to meet established deadlines.
• Ability to cross-train and move between different zones frequently.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders by operating RF Scanner to scan order tickets, pick product(s) in multiple zones and place them in boxes on a conveyor system.
• Pick large quantity orders for Distribution Center customers by operating RF Scanner to scan order ticket, pick boxes, place them on pallets, and move pallets to staging area.
• Pick specialized orders or kits as assigned by operating RF Scanner to scan order tickets, pick product(s) from various zones and place them in boxes on a conveyor system or on a pallet.
• May replenish warehouse stock in assigned area by scanning replenishment tickets and moving products to the assigned zone by hand or push-cart.
• Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management.
• Follow Six Sigma lean manufacturing standards to keep work area clean and safe from hazards.
• Perform other duties as required within the nature and level of work.
