Job Title: Pick-up and Delivery Driver

Job Responsibilities

1. Perform safe and legal operation of commercial motor vehicles.
2. Load and unload trailers and move freight across the terminal dock, individually or with assistance, with or without mechanical freight handling equipment.
3. Record shipment details using bills of lading, delivery receipts, and tally sheets.
4. Maintain records for compliance with state and federal regulations.
5. Develop and maintain professional relations with customers.
6. Hook and unhook trailers from tractors, including cranking the lever to raise and lower landing gear.
7. Inspect equipment for defects and safe operating condition as per laws and company standards.
8. Fuel trucks and tractors.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
