Job Responsibilities

1. Operate commercial motor vehicles safely and legally.
2. Load and unload trailers, moving freight across the terminal dock, with or without mechanical equipment, alone or with assistance.
3. Record shipment details using bills of lading, delivery receipts, and tally sheets.
4. Maintain compliance records for state and federal regulations.
5. Develop and sustain professional relationships with customers.
6. Hook and unhook trailers, including operating the landing gear crank.
7. Inspect equipment for defects and safe operation as per legal standards.
8. Fuel trucks and tractors.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned.
