Summary of Automotive Pick-up/Delivery Driver role:

Transport vehicles from the service department to customers at their home or business.

Essential Duties include:

• Greeting customers upon arrival
• Parking customer cars in the dealership lot
• Following safe driving procedures and reporting damages
• Picking up cars from customer's homes, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors
• Coordinating with the Account Manager for pickups/deliveries
• Checking with the Service Department for immediate needs
• Verifying invoice accuracy and payment receipt
• Maintaining an accurate transport log
• Maintaining a professional appearance
• Other tasks as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities required:

• Valid driver's license
• Minimum 5+ years of driving experience
• Pass motor vehicle record check
• Must be 18 years or older
• Consistent attendance
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to drive automatic; manual transmission preferred

Physical Demands:

• Walking, running, standing for sustained periods
• Alertness for 6-8 hour shifts
• Ability to lift or push up to 25 pounds

Working Conditions:

• Indoor and outdoor activities, environmental exposure
• Exposure to extreme temperatures

Pay Rate: $12 - 14 / hour
