Role Overview: Pick-up and Delivery Drivers

Job Responsibilities

1. Perform safe and legal operation of commercial motor vehicles.
2. Load and unload trailers and move freight across the terminal dock, individually or with assistance, using mechanical freight handling equipment as required.
3. Record shipment details using bills of lading, delivery receipts, and tally sheets.
4. Maintain records for compliance with state and federal regulations.
5. Develop and maintain professional relations with customers.
6. Hook and unhook trailers, including operating landing gear cranks.
7. Inspect equipment for defects and safe operation.
8. Fuel trucks and tractors.
9. Perform other related duties as assigned.
