Job Description

Position Summary: The Pick Packer is responsible for pulling, packing, and shipping pharmaceuticals (both refrigerated and non-refrigerated) and medical supplies. Uses various warehouse equipment, RF units, computer systems (AS400), manifest machines, and cherry pickers. Performs other warehouse functions including stocking pack stations with supplies and maintaining housekeeping.

Essential Functions

• Pulls orders accurately according to RF unit and order ticket.
• Verifies orders before sending to the pack station.
• Manifests cartons using carrier manifest stations and verifies labels.
• Stacks and shrink wraps cartons to specific skids by carrier ship level.
• Packs orders paying attention to special instructions and needs for extra dunnage, ice, etc.
• Uses warehouse equipment, RF units, manifest machines, cherry pickers, and computer systems.
• Maintains general housekeeping of warehouse and pack stations.
• Restocks packing stations with supplies and returns totes and carts to proper areas.

Requirements

• Six months of experience in a distribution center environment.
• Basic computer skills; RF experience helpful.
• Ability to read, write, and type in English.
