Job Description

Position Summary

The Pull Packer is responsible for pulling, packing, and shipping pharmaceuticals (both refrigerated and non-refrigerated) and medical supplies. Uses various warehouse equipment, RF units, the AS400 computer system, manifest machines, and cherry pickers. Performs other warehouse functions including stocking pack stations with supplies and maintaining housekeeping.

Essential Functions

1. Pull orders accurately using RF units and order tickets.
2. Verify orders before packing.
3. Manifest cartons and verify labels with pick-tickets.
4. Stack and shrink-wrap cartons onto skids by carrier ship level.
5. Pack orders paying attention to special instructions and additional needs like dunnage and ice.
6. Operate warehouse equipment, RF units, manifest machines, cherry pickers, and computer systems.
7. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and packing stations.
8. Restock packing supplies and return totes and carts to proper areas.

Minimum Requirements

• Six months of experience in a distribution center environment.
• Basic computer skills; RF experience is helpful.
• Ability to read, write, and type in English.
