Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of Alabama.

• Must obtain CRNI certification within one year of employment.
• Must be able to rotate on-call during evenings, nights, and weekends.
• Experience with PICC line insertion preferred.

Responsibilities

• Insert PICC lines in outpatient and inpatient settings using nursing process.
• Educate patients and staff on vascular access device care and management.
• Repair PICC lines and perform dressing changes as needed.
• Declot vascular access devices when required.
• Maintain competency through ongoing training and documentation.
