The Music Note is a thriving music school with currently 325+ registered and active students.

Role Description

This is a 1099 contract, on-site role for a Piano Teacher at The Music Note located at 540 California Ave. Pittsburgh, PA 15202. The Piano Teacher will be responsible for teaching piano playing, piano education, and music theory to students. Recitals are held quarterly to give our students performance opportunities.

Qualifications

• Piano Playing and Piano Education skills
• Music Theory and Music Education skills
• Experience in teaching piano
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well with students of all ages and skill levels
• Knowledge of different teaching methods and techniques
• Degree in Music or related field is preferred
• Availability to teach Mondays and Wednesdays (10+ students already waiting for an instructor)
• Availability to add Thursday and/or Saturday in the near future is a plus, but is not required.
