Job summary

Bertrand’s Music in La Puente, CA is seeking an Experienced Music Instructor to teach lessons and develop instruction plans. You will recruit and mentor students, prepare them for recitals, and provide email and video support to families.

Responsibilities include delivering engaging lessons, maintaining progress, and promoting Bertrand’s Music products and services while building strong relationships with students and their families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in music education preferred; experience on an instrument considered.
• Credentialed teachers preferred but not required.
• Applicants must be organized, prompt, and responsible.
• Fingerprinting and DOJ background check required.

Requirements:

• All accepted teachers will be required to be fingerprinted and have a background check through the Department of Justice.

From humble beginnings, founder and retired music educator, John Bertrand, Sr., started his shop in San Bernardino with the goal to offer excellent service, quality instruments, and to help promote music education.
