School of Rock Rockville is seeking a Piano/Keys Instructor to join our Rockville campus. You will lead music education, design engaging lessons, and guide students through performances and rehearsals to build musical and life skills.

The ideal candidate has at least 3+ years of teaching or performing experience, a strong knowledge of music theory, excellent communication with parents, and a passion for teaching in a dynamic, rock-inspired environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of teaching or performing music professionally.
• Knowledge of music theory and curriculum design.
• Excellent ability to deal with a wide range of customers and people.

Responsibilities

• Maximize the quality of music instruction including private lessons and shows.
• Communicate regularly with parents on progress after lessons.
• Interact with parents and students regularly and be visible in the school.
• Pitch in during canceled lessons and assist in rehearsals and basic maintenance in school.
