Scottsdale Studio of Music is seeking a talented piano lesson instructor to join our team. We are a community of passionate musicians who love sharing our gifts with students, with benefits, flexible scheduling, and a fun work environment.

You will teach 30-minute private lessons, assess new students, create lesson plans, prepare students for recitals, and participate in group Rock Band instruction, while receiving strong admin support.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills to connect with people of all ages, especially children and teens.
• Teaching ability and instrument skill demonstrated during interview.
• Commitment to teaching for at least one year.
• Multi-instrumentalist is a plus.
• Submit a music-specific resume.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students for 30 minute private lessons.
• Assess new student abilities and create lesson plans.
• Prepare students for recitals and facilitate recital participation.
• Communicate progress with parents/guardians.
• Participate in group instruction for the Rock Band Program.
