Job summary

One Music Schools in Scottsdale is seeking a talented private lesson instructor to join our Studio of Music team. You will teach 30-minute private lessons, assess new students, create lesson plans, and prepare them for recitals while coordinating with parents and our Rock Band Program.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills to connect with people of all ages.
• Must demonstrate teaching ability and instrument skill during interview.
• Be prepared to commit to at least one year of teaching.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students for 30 minute private lessons.
• Assessing new student abilities.
• Creating lesson plans.
• Preparing students for recitals.
• Facilitating student participation in recitals.
• Assisting students in reaching learning goals.
• Communicating with parents/guardians on student progress.
• Participating in group instruction for Rock Band Program.
