Job summary

One Music Schools in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a friendly substitute private music lesson teacher for piano, guitar, drums, and/or voice. You will join a team of passionate musicians in a welcoming studio and provide 30-minute private lessons.

Benefits include admin support, performance opportunities, paid ongoing training, and a comprehensive benefits package for employees and their families. Part-time with potential to grow to full-time.

Qualifications

• Must connect with people of all ages, especially children and teens.
• Teaching ability and instrument skill demonstrated during interview.
• Minimum 1-year commitment to teaching with us.
• Submit a music-specific resume and showcase multi-instrument skills (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Instruct students for 30-minute private lessons.
• Assess new student abilities and create lesson plans.
• Prepare students for recitals and facilitate participation in recitals.
• Communicate progress with parents/guardians.
• Assist with Rock Band Program group instruction.
