The Boston School of Music Arts is seeking an energetic Piano Faculty member to teach students ages 5 and up, including adults, in an in-school program. The role emphasizes solid piano skills, engaging instruction, and a passion for helping students grow musically.

This is a W2, in-school position with room for growth and a supportive work environment. Responsibilities include following our lessons program, maintaining notes, and preparing students for performances and competitions, with

Qualifications

• Solid Piano skills.
• Ability to create a warm, engaging, and encouraging music learning experience 1-on-1 and in groups.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid classroom management skills.
• Must pass background test for teaching children.
• Ability to work independently and follow direction.

Responsibilities

• Be trained in our lessons program.
• Keep internal lesson notes.
• Prepare students for community performances and school performances.
• Prepare students for competitions as BSMA rep or for special auditions.
• Work with small groups and bands (group pay rate applies).
