Job description

LHH is working with a Personal Injury Attorney who is looking for a part time Paralegal!

Key Responsibilities :

• Foster a professional environment that values growth, respect, and client-focused service.
• Aid the Case Manager in handling all facets of pre-litigation personal injury cases, from intake to demand preparation.
• Initiate and organize insurance claims for new cases.
• Supervise and manage clients' medical care, maintaining constant communication with clients and medical providers.
• Prepare both physical and electronic files for new clients, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and well-organized.
• Input and update critical case details in CasePeer or similar case management software.
• Schedule and coordinate medical appointments, ensuring timely follow-ups.
• Clearly explain legal procedures and required documentation to clients, providing them with the information needed to make informed decisions.
• Continuously monitor and review case status, medical records, and other related materials to ensure effective case progression.

Qualifications :

• Must be bilingual in Spanish
• 5+ years of experience as a paralegal
• California filing experience
• Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or similar role.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Attention to detail and a client-centered approach.
• Fully remote
• Contract- as needed basis

Pay Details : $30.00 to $45.00 per hour
