Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an AVEVA PI Integration Lead in Kentucky to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-wide data integration linking manufacturing operations with business systems. You will work with automation engineers, IT/OT teams, data architects, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure data solutions.

You will oversee PI System components, integrate with DCS/SCADA/MES/ERP, and build PI AF templates and dashboards, driving governance, performance, and cyber security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Instrumentation, IT or related field.
• 5+ years hands-on AVEVA PI System experience including PI Data Archive/PI AF/PI Vision/DataLink.
• Experience integrating DCS/SCADA/MES/PLCs/ERP in manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of OPC UA/DA, Modbus, MQTT and data acquisition tech.
• Scripting and automation skills: Python, SQL, PowerShell, .NET; strong IT/OT security.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, deployment and lifecycle management of AVEVA PI System components.
• Design integrations between DCS/SCADA/MES/PLCs and enterprise apps for real-time visibility.
• Develop PI Asset Framework structures, templates and dashboards to support decisions.
• Establish data governance, performance, cybersecurity and data integrity standards.
• Provide technical leadership, troubleshooting, and mentorship; support upgrades and DR plans.
