gpac is seeking an Associate Attorney for a growing personal injury firm in Dallas, TX to manage a diverse caseload from inception to resolution, including litigation if necessary.

The ideal candidate is collaborative, communicative, and accountable, with a J.D. from an accredited law school, Texas bar license, and 2+ years PI litigation experience in Texas. This full-time role offers growth and exposure to all phases of personal injury cases.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of personal injury matters.
• Communicate regularly with clients, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, and other involved parties.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement demands, and other legal documents.
• Review and analyze medical records, bills, accident reports, and other evidence.
• Conduct and defend depositions as experience permits.
• Negotiate claims and settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel.
• Assist with case strategy, litigation preparation, mediation, and trial preparation.
• Maintain accurate case files and meet applicable deadlines.
• Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and other attorneys.

• Excellent negotiation, writing, research, and communication skills.
• Strong organization and case-management abilities.
• Ability to independently manage matters while working effectively as part of a team.
• Litigation, deposition, mediation experience; trial experience is a major plus
