Job summary

Appointments can be at Clinical Assistant, Clinical Associate, or Clinical Professor ranks. The faculty member will design and deliver physiology content in an integrated active-learning curriculum for medical students.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree: PhD in physiology or an MD/DO.
• Experience teaching health professional students.
• Publications or scholarly works appropriate for the rank.

Responsibilities

• Develop and teach integrated physiology content to undergraduate medical students.
• Deliver a horizontally and vertically integrated, cross-clerkship curriculum with faculty teams.
• Develop formative and summative physiology assessments.
• Participate in accreditation activities.
• Supervise student scholarly projects and advise medical students.
• Participate in interview and selection processes for COM faculty and students.
• Pursue research and produce scholarly works.
• Hold membership on College of Medicine and University committees.
