The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate physiology courses, develop an externally funded research program, and contribute to departmental and university service.

• Research experience in physiological sciences
• Record of research productivity commensurate with experience level
• Demonstrated commitment to effective teaching of physiology courses at undergraduate and graduate levels
• Demonstrated commitment to working with a diverse student population, including first-generation students

Responsabilidades

• Develop and teach physiology courses (human, mammalian, and comparative) for majors or non-majors; mode of instruction may include in-person, hybrid, or online formats
• Contribute to diversifying the scientific workforce by training students in and out of the classroom, including the research laboratory
• Develop and sustain an externally funded laboratory-based research program involving undergraduate and graduate students, leading to presentations and publications with student co-authors
• Participate in service to department, college, university, profession, and community
