Bachelor's Degree in Science or Bachelor's Degree in Education with a minimum of 24 college credit hours in science or related field.
At least six (6) months of direct teaching or student teaching experience at the high school level. Note that relevant experience working with high school students will be considered.
The Archdiocese of San Antonio requires non-certified teachers to have 12 hours of education. Faculty hired without the 12 hours are placed on a deficiency plan and must obtain the 12 hours within two (2) years.
Mon to Fri 7:30 am-4:00 pm (see faculty handbook) Some night and weekend work dependent on student activity sponsorship and special events such as Open House.
