DataAnnotation is seeking a Physicist to craft problems that reveal gaps in physical reasoning and to review AI solutions for dimensional errors across mechanics, E&M, quantum, and thermodynamics. You will rate the reasoning and, when needed, write the gold-standard solution with clear, step-by-step physics explanations.
Ideal candidates have graduate-level physics background or equivalent research experience, comfort with multiple physics areas, and strong written English.
Models can recite physics and still get it wrong: dimensional errors, misapplied approximations, and derivations that skip the step where the physics actually happens.
As a Physicist you'll evaluate AI reasoning across mechanics, E&M, quantum, and thermodynamics, and write solutions with the care of a good problem-set grader.
Common backgrounds: Physicist, Research Scientist.
