Job summary

DataAnnotation seeks a Physicist to evaluate AI reasoning across mechanics, E&M, quantum, and thermodynamics, and to write solutions with the care of a good problem-set grader. You will craft problems that reveal weak physical reasoning and review AI solutions for errors, rating the reasoning and delivering a gold-standard solution when needed.

Common backgrounds include Physicist or Research Scientist, with graduate-level physics or equivalent research experience.

As a Physicist you'll evaluate AI reasoning across mechanics, E&M, quantum, and thermodynamics, and write solutions with the care of a good problem-set grader.

What you’ll actually do

• Craft problems that expose weak physical reasoning, from undergraduate mechanics to graduate-level theory.
• Review AI solutions for dimensional errors, misapplied approximations, and skipped steps, and rate the reasoning.
• Write the gold-standard solution when the model falls short, showing the physics clearly at every step.
