Candidates must hold a Master’s in Physics (or equivalent with graduate hours) and demonstrate the ability to teach online and use instructional technology. Day, evening, and weekend classes may be scheduled.

Qualifications

• Master's in Physics or equivalent with 18 graduate hours in Physics.
• Experience teaching college-level physics preferred.
• Ability to teach algebra- and calculus-based physics with labs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare course outlines and teach assigned courses based on approved syllabi; deliver interactive lectures.
• Incorporate technology within lectures and use instructional technology.
• Prepare and administer timely assessments for assigned courses.
• Collaborate with departmental faculty to ensure curriculum outcomes.
• Be available outside class for student support (1 hour per 3-hour class).
• Adhere to UIW Faculty Handbook policies and procedures.
• Maintain professional relationships with faculty, staff and students.
• Attend meetings with department chair and perform assigned duties.
