BASIS Independent Brooklyn Upper School is seeking a Math Teacher for the upcoming school year. You will teach higher level content, implement the BASIS Curriculum, and collaborate with colleagues to foster a rigorous, inclusive learning environment.

In this teaching position, you use your passion for your subject to inspire and teach higher-level content than what is typical of secondary students. Additional Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Abachelor's degree in the subject area. Coursework or experience in education is notrequired, nor is certification.

Preferred Qualifications: Subject-matterpostgraduate work (master'sor Ph.D.) is preferred. Together witha high levelof educational attainment, a successful applicant willdemonstratestrong communicationskills in teaching ideas, texts, and concepts with precision and confidence. Critically, an applicant mustpossess a high GPA in their major, excellent recommendations, experience working with children - not necessarily in the classroom - and be open to new ideasin teaching.
