Jefferson Community and Technical College seeks an Physics Adjunct Instructor to teach introductory physics and labs primarily on the Carrollton campus in Louisville, KY. The position runs two days and one evening per week for the spring 2027 term, with on-site duties and required lab setup.
The candidate should hold an MS in Physics or complete 18 graduate hours; PhD and teaching experience are preferred. Training on Blackboard Ultra will be provided if needed.
An instructor is needed to teach introductory physics classes and physics labs primarily in person on the Jefferson Community and Technical College Carrollton campus in Louisville, Kentucky for two days and one evening per week. The position is open for the spring semester 2027.
Previous teaching experience in the field is a plus, experience with BlackBoard Ultra, good communication skills, positive teaching evaluations, and incorporating diverse perspectives into teaching. JCTC offers training in these areas, if needed. This opening will require lecturing, setting up physics experiments and running them, and regular grade keeping.
MS degree in Physics, or 18 hours of graduate-level physics instruction.
