Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida, Inc. is seeking a Physician Assistant for on-site roles in Miami Beach and Aventura, FL. The PA will perform preoperative assessments, assist surgeons, and participate in OR procedures while maintaining patient confidentiality and safety.

Candidates should hold an active Florida PA license with NCCPA certification and CPR. Prior PA experience is preferred; on-site housing may be available for select positions.

Obtain complete history and perform complete physical assessment on new patients. Review current status/complaints. Review results of primary tests evaluating status. review results of tests completed since last visit and note changes.* Clinical interface: Facilitate preoperative procedure. Assist with placement of invasive lines as needed. Assist attending surgeon as either a first or second assistant. participate in teaching fundamental operating room techniques including aspect technique, trying knots, Hemostasis, tissue handling, wound closure and operating room techniques. act as a consultant to operating room and house staff personnel concerning surgery protocols and patient care as designated by the supervising physician.* Exhibit professional conduct in the provision of patient care. Maintain confidentiality of patient information. Work cooperatively with coworkers, physician and supervisor.
