MedChi is seeking a dedicated Physician to join the Mercy Hyperbaric and Wound Care team in St. Louis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Surgery, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine, with an interest in Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. Qualifications

  • Physician certified in surgery, family, or internal medicine.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical services in Wound Care at the Mercy Wound Care Clinic.
  • Work Monday to Friday, with no weekend or call responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with a team that includes RNs and support staff.

Job description

Mercy Hyperbaric and Wound Care team is currently seeking a Physician with an interest in Wound Care and Certified in Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, or willingness to become Certified. Interested candidates should be Board Certified in Surgery, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine. Our team consists of one Physician, one Nurse Practitioner, fourteen RNs, and engaged support staff focused on quality patient care.

  • Monday - Friday schedule; 8:00 am - 4:00 p.m.
  • No weekends and no call responsibilities
  • Providing clinical services at one location
  • Off campus Hospital Department
  • 900-bed, fully accredited teaching hospital
  • Only Level I Trauma Center in St. Louis County
  • 24/7 Hospitalist Coverage
  • Mercy Critical Care Medicine Fellowship, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine & OBGYN Residency Programs
  • 80,000 adult emergency visits annually
  • Robust Hospitalist program and EPIC Electronic Health Records
This position offers:
