West Virginia University School of Medicine and the WVU Heart& Vascular Institute seek a Vascular Surgeon (ranksavailable: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor).The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Wheeling,WV.
Depending on operational needs, a successful candidate may also beassigned to provide services at additional worksites in WestVirginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. In such instances, travelwould be anticipated and expected to fulfill said duties at theseadditional sites.
The successful candidate will practice in the areaof vascular surgery. In addition to providing excellent patientcare, the successful candidate will also be actively involved inteaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
Candidate must have an MD or DO degree orforeign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license.Successful candidate must have completed general surgery residencyprogram, as well as a vascular surgery fellowship program or avascular surgery residency. Successful candidates must be boardcertified / eligible in vascular surgery. All qualifications mustbe met by the time of appointment.
