Position Overview

West Virginia University School of Medicine and the WVU Heart & Vascular Institute are seeking a Vascular Surgeon (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor) to practice in Uniontown, PA. Depending on operational needs, the surgeon may also provide services at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania, with expected travel.

Responsibilities

• Practice advanced vascular surgery and provide excellent patient care.
• Actively teach medical students, residents, and fellows.

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or foreign equivalent with eligibility for a state medical license.
• Completion of a general surgery residency and a vascular surgery fellowship or residency.
• Board certified or eligible in vascular surgery.
• All qualifications met by the time of appointment.

Work Schedule

40 hours per week (Exempt). Schedule and shift details are as designated by the institution.

Location
