Job description

West Virginia University School of Medicine and the WVU Heart & Vascular Institute are seeking a Vascular Surgeon (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will practice in Martinsburg, WV, with possible assignments at additional sites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania, where travel is anticipated.

Duties
  • Provide excellent patient care in the area of vascular surgery.
  • Actively involve in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree, or foreign equivalent, and eligibility for a state medical license.
  • Completion of a general surgery residency program and a vascular surgery fellowship or residency.
  • Board certified or eligible in vascular surgery; all qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
