Quillen VA hospital and Mountain Home National Cemetery, which also includes classrooms and administrative buildings of the East Tennessee State University James H. Quillen College of Medicine. It is entirely contained inside the city of Johnson City.

In addition to the main facility in Mountain Home, they offer services in several community-based outpatient clinics, located in Knoxville, TN; Morristown, TN; Rogersville, TN; Bristol, VA; and Norton, VA. Services offered include primary care, spinal cord injury support, and speech-pathology.

Position Overview

The physician shall be responsible for providing urology care, including but not limited to:

• Clinical urology services such as surgeries, consultations, cystoscopies, and other related procedures.
• Presence at scheduled clinics or surgeries, either in the clinic or operating room, at the scheduled start time.
• Specialty exams related to urological conditions, including compensation and pension, Agent Orange assessments, etc.
• Follow all medication policies; no sample medications shall be provided to patients.
• Provide discharge education and follow-up instructions, coordinated with subsequent care settings for all urology clinical or surgical patients.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and meetings as required by the VA Medical Center leadership.

Qualifications

• Full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, or the District of Columbia.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Urology (ABU).
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
