Job summary

The Cynet Health team in Muncie, IN seeks an experienced Urology Physician to support 24/7 on-call coverage. The physician will round on inpatients during the day and handle ED and inpatient consults, with on-call surgeries as needed.

Proven expertise in general urology, including pediatric/adult cases and advanced endoscopic techniques, is preferred. Candidates should be board-certified with BLS, and be prepared to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment on a 7-day stretch schedule.

Description:Current urology locums are needed for 24/7 call coverage.The physician will round on inpatients during the day.Responsibilities include all emergency department and inpatient consults.The physician will also be responsible for on-call surgeries.Preferred skills include laparoscopic surgeries, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, and ureteroscopy.Experience with radical cystectomy with ileo-loop conduit, radical prostatectomy, and nephrectomy is preferred.Familiarity with pelvic node dissection and robotic surgery is a plus.Partial nephrectomies and intraoperative ultrasound experience preferred.Adrenalectomy and renal and bladder ultrasound skills are preferred.TRUS biopsy experience is beneficial.Fertility work-up and incontinence procedures knowledge are preferred.Experience with penile prosthesis and extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) is advantageous.Advanced pediatric surgery skills are preferred.
