Royal Surgical Associates seeks a Board-Certified Urologist for long-term coverage in Hancock, MI. The position features a 2-week on/2-week off rotation with 4 clinic days and 1 OR day per week, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no call coverage.

You will perform general urology, laparoscopic surgeries, ureteroscopy, and TRUS biopsies, with Da Vinci Xi robot available onsite. Michigan license, CDS, and DEA are required, along with ACLS and board certification or eligibility.

Qualificações

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Urology per ABU or ABO.
• Michigan medical license with CDS and DEA.
• ACGME or AOA-accredited residency or fellowship completed in Urology.
• ACLS certification required.
• Minimum 50 urologic procedures in past 12 months or recent residency/fellowship.
• Current board certification or board eligibility.

Responsabilidades

• Provide clinic and operating room coverage 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation.
• Perform and assist in urologic procedures including laparoscopic/robotic surgery.
• Manage on-site Da Vinci robot and participate in trauma patient care.
• Maintain licensing and regulatory compliance.

Job Details: Seeking a Board Certified Urologist for long-term coverage with a 1 year or longer commitment 2 week on/2 week off rotation with flexible dates; ideally looking for a December 2026 start Monday through Friday clinic and OR shifts; typical schedule consists of 4 clinic days and 1 OR day per week, 8:00 AM to 5:0... 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM No call coverage required Approximately 20 patient encounters per shift Da Vinci Xi Robot available onsite Facility lodging with amenities available during scheduled shifts Michigan License, Michigan CDS, and Michigan DEA required Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency/fellowship or foreign training in Urology required Current board certification or board eligibility required (American Board of Urology or American Osteopathic Board of Surgery - Urological Surgery) At least 50 urological procedures reflective of the scope of privileges requested during the past 12 months, or successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency/clinical fellowship within the past 12 months Required skills include General Urology (adult), laparoscopic surgeries, ureteroscopy, renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy, TRUS biopsies, and fertility work-up Preferred skills include pediatric urology, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, robotic surgery, and incontinence procedures ACLS certification required Facility: This facility is a Level 3 trauma center serving the local community with a dedicated urology department consisting of 25 beds.
