Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Urology Physician for locum tenens coverage in Michigan. The role covers both outpatient and inpatient settings with General Urology cases, typically Monday to Friday 8:00am–5:00pm. Start ASAP with credentialing around 30 days.

Must be American Board of Urology or ABO Urology, ACLS, DEA, CSR, and BLS; active Michigan license required. EMR systems include Athena and Meditech; malpractice insurance and travel arrangements are provided.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Urology by ABU or ABOU (Urological Surgery)
• Active Michigan medical license
• ACLS, DEA, CSR, and BLS certifications

Responsibilities

• Provide general urology services in outpatient and inpatient settings
• Schedule: Mon–Fri 8:00am–5:00pm with 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation

• Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, 2 week on/2 week
• Practice Setting: Outpatient and Inpatient
• Types of Cases: General Urology cases
• Credentialing Timeframe: 30 Days
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Athena & Meditech
• Certifications required: Must be American Board of Urology or American Osteopathic Board of Surgery – Urological Surgery certified, must have Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), Drug Enforcement Administration License (DEA), Controlled Substance Registration (CSR), Basic Life Support (BLS)
• License required: Active Michigan license
