A leading healthcare provider is seeking a fellowship-trained urologic oncologist. This role involves performing advanced surgical procedures and providing comprehensive care to patients. This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program approval, award amount (up to $200,000), and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants are ineligible to apply.

Recruitment Incentive (Sign-on Bonus): Authorized.
Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, and regular salary increases.
Paid Time Off: 50-55 days per year, including 26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays, and possibly 5 days for CME.
Retirement: Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% contributions by VA.
Insurance: Federal health, vision, dental, term life, and long-term care insurance programs.
Licensure: One full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory.
CME: Possible $1,000 per year reimbursement (full-time with board certification).

Applicants must meet the basic requirements and any specific additional requirements listed in the job announcement. Pending training or license requirements may be temporarily accepted. Current VA employees who met previous qualification standards are deemed to meet the basic requirements.
Fellowship-trained urologic oncologist at associate professor level or above, with expertise in open and robotic surgery, including advanced oncologic procedures like post-chemotherapy retroperitoneal lymph node dissection, pelvic exenteration, and vena caval thrombectomy on cardiac bypass.
