A leading medical society is seeking a qualified physician to provide comprehensive urology services. The role involves diagnosing and treating genitourinary illnesses, performing surgical procedures, and consulting with patients and healthcare teams. Candidates must hold a medical degree and possess a valid medical license.
This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) — a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Approval, including the award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years), is determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the application.
To qualify for this position, you must meet the basic requirements and any additional requirements listed in the job announcement. Applicants pending completion of training or licensing requirements may be considered tentatively but cannot be hired until requirements are met. Current VA-employed physicians who met the initial appointment requirements are deemed to have met the basic requirements.
