Northbay Health in Northern California is seeking a Board-Certified, Licensed Urgent Care Physician to join our health system. The role focuses on outpatient care at our urgent care locations with a collaborative team of physicians and APPs.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, ordering tests, treating and vaccinating as needed, and coordinating care with specialists when required. This position emphasizes compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board-certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or related field.
• Licensed to practice in California.

Practice Description:

• Urgent Care Location: American Canyon, CA
• Hours of business: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Saturday, Sundays, Weekends 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM -
• Shift: 10-hour daily shift
• Inpatient/Outpatient Responsibilities: Outpatient only
• Call Ratio: Balanced call ratio shared among physicians and sites
• Daily Patient Census: Average 20-40 patients per day
• Equipment/Resources: Access to state-of-the‑art medical equipment and comprehensive resources
• Provider Support: Collaborative team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Consult with patients to assess urgent care needs and determine appropriate treatment plans

• Actively participate in hospital committees and initiatives
• Collaborate with and supervise APPs to enhance patient care

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree
• Board-certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or a related field
• Licensed to practice medicine in the state of California
• Proven experience in urgent care or emergency medicine settings
• Excellent diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

Compensation and Benefits: (Based on 1.0 FTE W2)

Total compensation up to $444,482 annualized 1st year

• Income Guarantee at $354,548 (Year 1-2)
• APP Supervision: $12,000 per year per 1.0 FTE APP
• Signing Bonus: up to $50,000
• Retention Bonus (beginning at the completion of the 2nd year): up to $30,000 per year
• Relocation bonus: Up to $20,000 (based on location)
• CME/Dues reimbursement up to $8,000 annually
• Quality incentive eligible beginning year 3
