Job summary

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor Degree required and board certification as per bylaws.
• State licensure in Michigan upon hire.
• Experience leading physician initiatives.
• Experience in hospital operations, care progression, or utilization management.
• Familiarity with LOS metrics and throughput improvements.
• Preferred: Physician Advisor or Medical Director roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead real-time throughput and embed with inpatient teams.
• Identify and escalate discharge barriers to leadership.
• Drive LOS reduction and timely care progression.
• Develop standardized workflows and escalation pathways.
• Partner with service lines to address LOS outliers.
