The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a Tele Critical Care Intensivist to provide 24/7 remote critical care to veterans. This role involves leveraging telemedicine for consultations and collaborating with local teams across various facilities. Candidates must possess a medical degree, complete a critical care fellowship, and hold a current medical license.
The VA Tele Critical Care (TCC) program provides 24/7 remote Critical Care for over 80 VA ICUs and 1200 beds across the United States. TCC is staffed with physicians who leverage technology and clinical expertise to care for critically ill Veterans. We are seeking a Physician with a completed Critical Care Fellowship to join one of the 15 locations listed in this announcement.
Tele Critical Care Intensivist Duties:
Responsibilities include providing remote critical care consultation and support across VA facilities, collaborating with on-site teams, and utilizing telemedicine technology to deliver high-quality care.

Physical Requirements: A physical examination is required prior to placement, including capabilities such as lifting, reaching, walking, standing, and visual and auditory acuity, as detailed in VA Directive and Handbook 5019.
