Med Source Consultants in Fargo, ND seeks a Board-Certified Surgeon trained in Surgical Critical Care to join a busy Level II Trauma Center. The role covers general surgery with laparoscopic, robotic, trauma, breast, vascular, and colorectal procedures; supports ICU and post-op care with NP colleagues, and offers potential to lead as Trauma Medical Director. The practice includes 6 surgeons and multiple NPs; ATLS certification is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Surgical Critical Care required.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in General Surgery required.
• ATLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Join a busy, full-spectrum general surgery practice including laparoscopic, robotic, trauma, breast, vascular, and colorectal surgery
• Growing practice consisting of 6 surgeons, 3 General Surgery NPs, and 1 Wound Care NP
• NPs assist in the OR, provide post-op care, and round in the hospital
• Planning to transition to an acute care surgery service for day call, with possible 2 weeks of ACS coverage
• Opportunity for dedicated critical care time
• Level II Trauma Center with clinic and hospital at one location
• Opportunity to become Trauma Medical Director
