Job summary

Med Source Consultants in Fargo, ND is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible physician to join our Thoracic Surgery program. The role includes adult cardiac and general thoracic surgery in hospital, clinic, and OR settings, with opportunities to perform open, minimally invasive, and robotic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Join a Heart & Vascular team of 14 physicians and 10 APPs within an Integrated Heart and Vascular System Service Line.
• Perform open and minimally invasive/robotic thoracic surgeries including esophageal, mediastinal, pulmonary and chest wall procedures.
• Work across hospital, clinic and OR settings with CT surgeons and PA support.
• Collaborate with pulmonary team offering lung cancer screening, PFT Lab, and minimally invasive procedures.
• Benefit from on-site Medical and Radiation Oncology, Infusion Services, Genetic Counseling, Survivorship programs, and support groups.

• Join a dynamic Heart & Vascular team of 14 physicians and 10 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) within an Integrated Heart and Vascular System Service Line
• Ideal candidates are trained in adult cardiac and general thoracic surgery
• Work alongside seasoned CT surgeons and PA support in hospital, clinic, and OR settings
• Clinic and hospital are located in the same building, allowing seamless transitions between inpatient and outpatient activities

• Participate in a balanced 1:3 call rotation
• Engage in a full spectrum of surgical techniques, including open and minimally invasive/robotic surgery
• Perform advanced esophageal, mediastinal, pulmonary, and chest wall surgeries with a focus on innovative and minimally invasive techniques
