West Virginia University School of Medicine and the WVU Heart & Vascular Institute's Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery are actively recruiting a board-certified/eligible cardiothoracic surgeon (ranks available: Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor) with a specialty interest in Adult Cardiac Surgery. The candidate will practice in Morgantown, WV.
Depending on operational needs, the successful candidate may also be assigned to provide services at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. Travel would be expected to fulfill duties at these sites.
The candidate will practice in cardiothoracic surgery, provide excellent patient care, and participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
