Job summary

Join Parachute, LLC in Seguin, TX is seeking a Physician Substitute to join our Center Medical team. You will oversee donor health, safety, and the donor experience within a fast-growing plasma donation network.

The role requires nursing or EMT licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and the ability to lift 50 pounds and work weekends. You will collaborate with center staff and may receive cross-training in phlebotomy and related tasks as the organization scales.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma, GED equivalent, or higher education.
• Certified/licensed in the state of employment as a Registered Nurse, Paramedic, Licensed Practical Nurse, Advanced/Intermediate or Basic Emergency Medical Technician.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods.
• Ability to work weekends, regularly or as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and physical exams.
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed.
• Work collaboratively with all center staff.
• Manage health logs and test results with clinical oversight.
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and compliant.
• Cross-trained in all center functions including phlebotomy, processing bottles, and station installation.
