Join Parachute is seeking a Physician Substitute in Wilson, NC to ensure donor health, safety, and a positive donor experience. You will collaborate with center staff to maintain a welcoming environment and support growth in a fast-scaling, people-focused plasma donation operation.

The role involves health screenings, cross-training across center functions, and potential for advancement within a dynamic, high-growth company. Excellent patient care and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid clinical license (RN, Paramedic, LPN, Advanced/Intermediate or Basic EMT) in the state of employment.
• Current BLS or CPR certification is required.
• Ability to work weekends or as needed.
• Physically able to lift 50 pounds and stand/sit for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and physical exams.
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed.
• Work collaboratively with all center staff.
• Manage health logs and test results with clinical oversight.
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and compliant.
• Cross-train in center functions including phlebotomy, processing bottles, and station installation.

What You’ll Do

As a Physician Substitute, you will be a key member of the site's lean team, responsible for donor health and safety and a critical part of the donor experience. You'll work collaboratively with center staff to create a positive environment for the team and our donors. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and physical exams
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed
• Work collaboratively with all center staff

• Beyond your core responsibilities, you will be fully cross trained in all center functions including phlebotomy, processing bottles, and station installation

Required Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma, GED equivalent, or higher education
• Certified/licensed in the state of employment as a Registered Nurse, Paramedic, Licensed Practical Nurse, Advanced/Intermediate or Basic Emergency Medical Technician
• Current BLS or CPR certification
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods
• Ability to work weekends, regularly or as needed
