Join Parachute, LLC in Wilson, NC is seeking a Physician Substitute to join our Center Medical team. You will oversee donor health and safety, conduct screenings and exams, and collaborate with center staff to ensure a positive donor experience in a fast-growing plasma donation network.

This role offers cross-training across center functions, including phlebotomy and station setup, with opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or GED or higher.
• Certified/licensed in the state as RN/Paramedic/LPN/EMT.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods.
• Ability to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and physical exams.
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed.
• Work collaboratively with center staff.
• Manage health logs and test results with clinical oversight.
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and compliant.
• Cross trained in phlebotomy, processing bottles, and station installation.

What You’ll Do As a Physician Substitute, you will be a key member of the site’s lean team, responsible for donor health and safety and a critical part of the donor experience. You’ll work collaboratively with center staff to create a positive environment for the team and our donors. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and physical exams

• Beyond your core responsibilities, you will be fully cross trained in all center functions including phlebotomy, processing bottles, and station installation

Required Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma, GED equivalent, or higher education
• Certified/licensed in the state of employment as a Registered Nurse, Paramedic, Licensed Practical Nurse, Advanced/Intermediate or Basic Emergency Medical Technician
• Current BLS or CPR certification
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods
• Ability to work weekends, regularly or as needed
