Job summary

Join Parachute in Wilmington, DE seeks a Physician Substitute to join its Center Medical team. You will ensure donor health and safety, conduct health screenings and exams, and support a fast-growing donor experience.

You will collaborate with center staff, maintain health logs, manage test results under clinical oversight, and be cross-trained in phlebotomy, processing, and station setup; this role offers growth and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as RN/paramedic/LPN/EMT in the employment state.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods.
• Willing to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and physical exams
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed
• Work collaboratively with all center staff

• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and compliant
• Cross trained in all center functions including phlebotomy, processing bottles, and station installation

What Youll Do
As a Physician Substitute, you will be a key member of the sites lean team, responsible for donor health and safety and a critical part of the donor experience. Youll work collaboratively with center staff to create a positive environment for the team and our donors. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and physical exams
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed
• Work collaboratively with all center staff
• Manage health logs and test results with clinical oversight
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and compliant
• Beyond your core responsibilities, you will be fully cross trained in all center functions including phlebotomy, processing bottles, and station installation

Required Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma, GED equivalent, or higher education
• Certified/licensed in the state of employment as a Registered Nurse, Paramedic, Licensed Practical Nurse, Advanced/Intermediate or Basic Emergency Medical Technician
• Current BLS or CPR certification
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods
• Ability to work weekends, regularly or as needed
