Job summary

Join Parachute, LLC is seeking a Physician Substitute at our Center Medical in El Dorado, AR. You will be part of a lean, high-energy team ensuring donor health, safety, and a positive donor experience.

In this role you will perform health screenings, monitor donor eligibility, respond to reactions, and collaborate with center staff while cross-training in phlebotomy and other center functions. Competitive pay and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Licensed/Certified in-state as RN, Paramedic, LPN, Advanced/Intermediate or EMT.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods.
• Weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and physical exams.
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed.
• Work collaboratively with center staff.
• Manage health logs and test results with clinical oversight.
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and compliant.
• Cross-train in all center functions including phlebotomy, processing bottles, and station installation.

What You’ll Do As a Physician Substitute, you will be a key member of the site’s lean team, responsible for donor health and safety and a critical part of the donor experience. You’ll work collaboratively with center staff to create a positive environment for the team and our donors. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and physical exams
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed
• Work collaboratively with all center staff

• Beyond your core responsibilities, you will be fully cross trained in all center functions including phlebotomy, processing bottles, and station installation

Required Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma, GED equivalent, or higher education
• Certified/licensed in the state of employment as a Registered Nurse, Paramedic, Licensed Practical Nurse, Advanced/Intermediate or Basic Emergency Medical Technician
• Current BLS or CPR certification
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods
• Ability to work weekends, regularly or as needed
