Join Parachute, LLC seeks a Physician Substitute at our Jefferson City, MO center. You will oversee donor health and safety, perform screenings and exams, and support the donor experience within a lean, high‑energy team.

You will collaborate with center staff, help manage health logs, and stay compliant with room and equipment standards. Cross training across center functions offers growth opportunities in a fast-scaling environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma, GED, or higher.
• Licensed/certified as RN, Paramedic, LPN, Advanced/Intermediate, or EMT.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.
• Lift 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods.
• Ability to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and exams.
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed.
• Collaborate with all center staff to maintain a positive environment.
• Manage health logs and test results with clinical oversight.
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked and compliant.
• Cross-train in phlebotomy, bottle processing and station setup.

What You’ll Do

As a Physician Substitute, you will be a key member of the site’s lean team, responsible for donor health and safety and a critical part of the donor experience. You’ll work collaboratively with center staff to create a positive environment for the team and our donors. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and physical exams
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed
• Work collaboratively with all center staff
• Manage health logs and test results with clinical oversight
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and compliant
• Beyond your core responsibilities, you will be fully cross trained in all center functions including phlebotomy, processing bottles, and station installation

Required Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma, GED equivalent, or higher education
• Certified/licensed in the state of employment as a Registered Nurse, Paramedic, Licensed Practical Nurse, Advanced/Intermediate or Basic Emergency Medical Technician
• Current BLS or CPR certification
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods
• Ability to work weekends, regularly or as needed
