Job summary

Altais Health Solutions seeks a Physician Services Advisor to act as the primary internal contact for all service lines offered to our physician network. This hybrid role (Santa Cruz/Santa Clara) requires travel up to 75% to support physicians and office staff across regions.

You will facilitate onboarding, manage accounts, educate practices on policies, and coordinate multi-department work groups to resolve access, quality, and claims issues.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience serving in direct managed health care administration or physician office administration.
• 2-3 years of patient and physician portals and EMR or EMH system experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to use independent judgment and initiative within established policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong understanding of physician office operations and interdependencies between offices, health plans, and IPAs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary internal contact for all service lines provided by Altais to network physicians.
• Support day-to-day administrative operations and provide exceptional service to physicians and office staff.
• Monitor physician participation from entry through tenure with Altais.
• Advocate for current and future products, services, and operational processes.
• Promote Altais' strategic goals, core values, and communications.
• Assist with onboarding new physicians and staff, handling account setups and paperwork.
• Schedule and facilitate internal and external meetings to discuss and resolve issues.
• Educate physician practices on new and existing policies and procedures.
